Wings open the doors for Saturday's practice

Fans can enjoy the unique opportunity to see their favorite Red Wings, including Henrik Zetterberg, during Saturday's open practice.
DETROIT
--The Red Wings will host an open practice on Saturday, September 29 at Joe Louis Arena.

This unique inside look at a Red Wings’ game day practice is free to the public and includes Red Wings captain Nicklas Lidstrom and Vice President/General Manager Ken Holland addressing the crowd following the skate.

The Joe Louis Arena doors will open at 9:30 a.m. with players beginning to take the ice at approximately 10:15 a.m. All fans in attendance will be entered to win great Red Wings' prizes, including autographed merchandise and tickets to Saturday night’s game vs. Toronto.

Single game tickets to Red Wings' games through December are currently available, including a limited number of tickets for this Saturday’s Original Six match-up with the Maple Leafs (7:00 p.m.) -- the only time Toronto will visit Joe Louis Arena this season.

Red Wings' ticket representatives will be on hand Saturday to answer any questions regarding the Wings’ new six-game and 12-game Flex Plans, packages to the Joe Louis Arena Luxury Suites and the all-new Comerica Bank Legends Club. Fans also can call 313-396-7575 or visit DetroitRedWings.com for more information and to purchase tickets.
