Wings rookie forward Igor Grigorenko skated with many of his new teammates for the first time Tuesday morning during an informal practice at the Troy Sports Center. He'll fly to Traverse City on Wednesday for the Wings' annual prospects camp. They'll practice Thursday before the start of the eight-team tournament on Friday.
After hearing about Grigorenko for several years, many Wings said they're anxious to finally see him on the ice. Much of the Wings brass -- general manager Ken Holland, assistant GM Jim Nill and vice-president Steve Yzerman -- were there to watch him.
